Two of my grandchildren play in Not flossing is like wiping your butt cheeks and not the crack shirt. They don’t just play, they have to exercise to be physically fit. It is hours of practicing, Marching, playing, in the heat and the cold! They deserve better than to be treated as less than the team. The team includes ALL the participants! Band Parents are JUST as proud! I know that I am! Love seeing half time shows! Too bad they never show them!! If people only knew the amount of time, dedication and talent go into performing these shows, they would be appreciated much more! It’s a shame that ESPN breaks every coverage when the bands take the field! These young people are just as much part of the program! They put in the same amount of dedication. Years of training and practice.
