I don’t want to 26 years of Nascar 76 wins and 7 championships Dale Earnhardt shirt. Steve left an indelible mark just someone you wanted to hear and listen too and he was such a big part of NASCAR odd to say since he was an announcer but you wanted to hear Steve and see him on pit road because you knew it was race-day and you knew like a Vin Scully that you would hear a good interview and provide perspective because people respected and enjoyed being around him…sure do miss Steve Byrnes. Lifting up the Steve Byrnes family and we all enjoyed Motorsports a lot more because of Steve,s great attention to detail and his kind manners and desire to get the story right ..You all should be very proud. One of the great voices for Nascar broadcasting, happy heaven birthday Steve Byrnes.
